Well, the framing is finally complete. The doors and windows were installed last week and the roof was finished. They also installed the tubs and showers upstairs and made our beautiful achways and niches. They’re working on the shingles and plumbing this week. Dad’s going to be starting on the HVAC at the end of the week also. I posted new pictures on the Photo Gallaries page.

What a difference a week makes. The entire house was framed and they’ve started on the roof in a matter of days. See the pictures we took on the 11th in the Photo Gallery. Next week they’ll finish the roof and start on the shingles. We’re moving now. Check back often because it’s going to change quickly. TTFN

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted anything. Mostly because there hasn’t been much to say. As you saw from the last post (and for everyone in Ohio you know this first hand) the weather has not been very cooperative. The snow and rain have got us about a month behind schedule. That may turn out to be a good thing however, since we still have to sell our townhouse.

I’m happy to report today that they started framing in the house yesterday.   It has been a long time coming but we are now starting to see a real house being built. It’s exciting and a bit scary. I was standing in what will be our kitchen and everything still seems so small to me. I still haven’t been able to get my brain to comprehend the actual size since there is nothing in there to give it any perspective. I’m sure that will all change once the walls go up, but right now it’s hard to picture everything.
